Average and too salty I ate the apples first because i'm an unconventional kind of person and like to eat dessert first sometimes. (we should all live a little, right?!) The glaze on the apples was completely liquid, so what I had was apples with caramel flavored liquid in the bottom, but it was watery. The apples were not crunchy but were on the chewy side.Next to the meat and potatoes portion....... the potatoes only had a few shreds of cheese on them, which i feel is different from the picture and description that says they're "cheddar topped" potatoes. The potatoes were dry and bland tasting. The gravy was salty and had a lot of pepper. The pork chop was good, very meaty and wholesome, and i loved that it was boneless and really tender and juicy. The only downside to the pork chop was that it was too salty and i covered it w/the gravy that was pretty bad. I will mention that i only used less than 1/2 of the gravy pouch and tossed the rest of the gravy, and i still thought it overwhelmed the dish! I would not recommend or eat this meal again now that I have tried it. I would recommend MC make some changes to the chemistry of this meal because it has a lot of potential. Making the apples and glaze better and making the gravy less peppery and the rest of the food less salty would benefit this dish tremendously. December 20, 2011
